After a short summer break, OGRE Meetings are back!

The next OGRE meeting will be held on Thursday Sept 21st at 7pm at the jaded Pixel offices, upstairs at 190 Maclaren Street.

At the meeting, Martin Dufort, Alain Lavoie and Andy Bennis of The Kakiloc Operations (TKO) will be giving a presentation and demo of their upcoming Web 2.0 Location-Based Social Networking Service: Kakiloc. Kakiloc was built using a mixture of Rails, Rinda, Ruby and J2ME.

As always, after the presentation we will retire to a local pub for beer.

REMINDER: Ogre is the Ottawa Group of Ruby Enthusiasts. We welcome anyone who is interested in ruby, rails, web apps, web standards and modern web design.
