Export Orders by Month and Quarter
Just in time for tax season, we've added the ability to download your orders in CSV format for any given month or quarter.
From your Orders page, select the "Export Orders by Month or Quarter" link. By clicking on the relevant icon links, Shopify will create a zipped CSV file of all your orders for the given month or quarter and email it you. You can also select a specific month or quarter by selecting the 'Other' icon.

Like it! So reading through the forums, Shopify mentioned that it was working on a solution to perhaps making it so you could download all orders and open directly into Quickbooks…is this still under consideration?

Me again. Just tested this out – for some reason the orders come through in a random order? Not ordered by Order #. Easily fixed with the sort feature in Excel but would be better not to have to!
