Happy Cog is a North American design powerhouse and was awarded .net Magazine's Design Agency of the Year 2010. They also received the Best In Class Interactive Media Award for designing zappos.com and their list of clients is a Who's Who of media, entertainment and major brands, such as Warner Bros. Films, AIGA, MSNBC and Groupon.
The Shopify theme they are releasing today, Cogify comes in four flavours that should satisfy a broad spectrum of retailing types: Concorde, Underground, Gazelle, and Flyer. Slick and compliant HTML5 code makes it a great base to build and extend on.
It comes with an easy-to-follow documentation in case you want to explore one of its features in greater depth; like the tight integration with Typekit which allows you to choose from a plethora of typefaces to use within your store or the theme's social media integrations (Twitter, Facebook).
This theme was hand-crafted by some of the industry's best. Namely, Creative Director Kevin Sharon, designers Yesenia Perez-Cruz and Joey Pfeifer and code wizards Brian Warren and Allison Wagner, with oversight from Jenn Lukas, Happy Cog's Interactive Development Director.
We're all really excited about this and love how Shopify merchants now have access to their very own Happy Cog design!

Great stuff. Looks beautiful. Nice work. I look forward to eventually getting around to putting together our own theme—but it is a lot of work.
Nice clean looking base templates, they also look and sound like they will be very adaptable from this little insight.
Simply awesome theme design. The HTML5 code is class as well. Good job guys, you’ve inspired me to get Shopify designing again…
Hurrah! — top notch.
looks good…now you are making me want to change my theme! stop it!
It’s too bad there aren’t any good solid free HTML5 Shopify themes for developers… a “boilerplate” theme, if you will. Something like Automattic’s Toolbox theme for WordPress.
