Today we’re excited to kick off our Shopify Build-A-Business Competition! To participate, all you have to do is open an online store and start selling products using Shopify. By February 28th 2013, the four stores that have sold the most over any two month period will win a grand prize package – including a $50,000 investment to help make your business an even bigger success.

Grand Prize Packages

Each of the four competition winners will receive:
  • $50,000 investment from a mentor in exchange for 5%, valuing your company at $1 million
  • Trip to New York City to meet with all the mentors
  • $20,000 Google AdWords credit
  • Feature article on Fast Company’s website  

Already Own a Shopify Store? 

Businesses that were started before March 1, 2012 aren’t eligible to win the grand prize package, but can still enter the competition to get expert advice from our mentors. And since you already know Shopify - now is the perfect time to join the competition and test out a new store or product.
