Earlier this year, we acquired Select Start Studios, an award-winning mobile app development company. Since we welcomed them to Shopify, our new mobile team has been working hard to make your store look great on a mobile device, and make it easier to run your store from your phone.
There are so many cool things you can do with this app:
- Get order notifications right on your phone
- Send order-tracking info to customers right from the post office

We did a ton of testing before releasing this but there is a specific way to configure a Shopify store which will lead to the crash. It’s affecting about 2%-3% of stores out there.
We have found and fixed the issue now and we are waiting for Apple to approve the bug fix.

Looks great… but seems to have limited extra function.
It’s a great starting point, but STILL no ability to edit SKU, description and am I being dumb, or can you now NOT edit stock levels?
On the fly editing is what I wanted, but it does look awesome. Fingers crossed for future developments.

Edit stock levels will come in the next version, which is a week or two away.
Out mobile team is continuing to add features so leave a comment on any other things you’d like to be able to do from the app.

When will the fix that affects the 2-3% of us be in effect. Still not working! Will not import my store!
For us 8×8 VoIP users would be great to be able to configure so that when tapping a customer’s phone # it uses the 8×8 iPhone app. That way customers don’t see us calling from our mobile phones.

I’m in the same boat, it won’t load my store. I opened a ticket on it last week but haven’t heard back. Any word on the fix?

Iphone app great – except the icon doesn’t update properly. Still says there are outstanding orders when all orders are PAID and FULFILLED and CLOSED…
has a number 1 on icon on start screen for the last 3 weeks even with the above situation…causes confusion and the need to check if its real every few minutes….anyone else getting this??

Same issue as al the little number icons are not going, I have them showing my total number of orders I have taken, they just keep counting up!
