Jimmy Nordlund’s Bio

Jimmy Nordlund is a web designer and developer working and living in the small town of Lindesberg, Sweden. He decided to become a web developer roughly two years ago when he discovered web standards and that famous orange book. When he is not in front of a computer screen Jimmy enjoys video games, sci-fi movies and a good match of football (soccer).

Short Interview with Jimmy Nordlund

Question: What is the concept behind your design?

Answer: To be honest, I really didn’t start out with a special concept or direction in mind. I just played around with Photoshop and Vision and what came out in the end was Tellus. I tried to keep it simple and clean, with a modern feel to it.

Question: What kinds of freelance work do you do?

Answer: I mainly concentrate on design and front-end coding using CSS and XHTML.

Question: What’s your day-job?

Answer: I actually work as a web developer for a living. About a year ago I set up a small web design studio called Digital Venues that I run together with my brother, who takes care of all the back-end coding. Through the use of web standards we build simple, usable websites for small and medium-sized businesses.
