You have made a great Shopify application that is useful for other shop owners. Now what?

Monetize

There are two ways of making money off your app(s). You can either have your own billing system in place or you can make use of Shopify's upcoming Billing API.

Our Billing API will allow you to develop apps and then relax while we handle all money transactions for you. You will be able to charge customers on a monthly basis (through subscriptions) or by charging a one-time fee - or you can give it away for free. If you choose a subscription model, you will even be able to set up different plans to satisfy your customers' varying needs.

Once you are ready to release your app to the public you can submit it through your Partners Administration Screen. When approved, your app is automatically advertised in the App Store and in stores' admin panels.
