No, you don’t. You and your child can get all the benefits of the Business Starter Kit without signing up for a Shopify account. Though if they have a great idea that they want to pursue with your support, you shouldn’t hesitate to start a free trial (you must be 18+ to have an account with Shopify).

Right now, the Starter Kit is only available in the USA and Canada in English. If you’re outside this region, you can add your email address to our waitlist and we’ll let you know when it’s available in your area. You can also right now and get a booklet full of engaging activities and exercises, ready for immediate download.

For the Digital Starter Kit, some paper or a notebook as well as a pen or pencil will be needed. Your child will use these while following the Digital Starter Kit as a guide to starting their own business.
The Starter Kit includes everything your child will need to complete the base activities. There are bonus activities that require items such as an iron, a fabric based item like a t-shirt or tote bag, a printer, and a computer with internet access.

Upon ordering, your Business Starter Kit should arrive within 2-4 weeks, depending on your location. You can also and get your kids the entrepreneurial spark they’re looking for.

As we're currently prioritizing families, the kit is not available for bulk orders for schools, classes or large groups. However, we'd love to expand to these groups in the future.
