About the Role
Shopify is in a unique position to help agencies to deliver on their clients’ digital transformation. We are looking for an Agency Enablement Manager, France with significant experience building and managing enablement programs for businesses in the digital space to up-skill and enable their employees across various crafts regarding the business and technical aspects of digital business. This role aims at activating partners after sign-up as well as helping high performing partners to accelerate their growth, through activities such as specialised onboarding and education formats.
This role is responsible for working with global enablement and certification teams, developing and executing scalable educational programs for new and existing agency partners in France across all funnel stages, developing localised educational formats and delivery infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for agencies, a deep understanding of the technical and business requirements of the commerce business, and significant experience in education and enablement.

Projects you’ll work on:
Building tactics to enable partners to ship high-value projects
Assisting with training and onboarding new partners and new employees of each partner
Agency Enablement & Education (50% of time)
Align with global enablement and certification teams as well as other regions and define touchpoints as well as areas of cooperation
Build scalable, localised education programs to address different agency business maturity levels at various stages of the agency partner funnel
Surface opportunities for agency growth and enablement through qualitative and quantitative research, define KPIs and set targets - we'd like to encourage you to run experiments and compare results!
Informing global certification and enablement teams of requirements and growth opportunities for agency partners in France
Create a curriculum of content and formats for technical as well as business enablement of agency partners, building off of and extending already existing and proven resources to fill regional/local content gaps
Enable agencies regarding our different products, up-skill them regarding new additions to our product and services portfolio
Regional Development (25% of time)
Work with your cross-functional colleagues in other business units/teams across Shopify, and global craft on over-arching projects and deliverables that cater to the regional mission
Adopt the regional mission statement and business/operational plans by executing tactics within the region
Work with the global program on the modular adoption of global activities for the benefit of region and craft
Determine scalable approaches for how you execute your role, to benefit the team and program
Support regional expansion plans within EMEA as required
Process & Operations (25% of time)
Ensure operational elements of the role are conducted on a regular basis, including (but not exclusive to) program monitoring and data analysis
Work with global teams and configure tools and processes for content delivery and audience outreach
- A self-starter, proactive, and able to handle uncertainty, while demonstrating your own initiative
Ability to work with cross-functional teams within the wider organisation to implement improvements and have impact
You have excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English.
Ability to deliver on the tactical/admin side of the role (ex. data management, pitch development, project management)
Experience building educational programs for commerce agencies, technology providers, and other potential businesses that complement the commerce lifecycle
Experience in defining education formats as well as curate and align content to the specific audiences’ requirements regarding technical, business-related, and organisational topics
You have an understanding of various levels of expertise on the side of trainees, and how to match content formats.
Worked with multilingual audiences, have a deep understanding of local nuances (France) and built educational programs for non-english speaking participants
Experience using software tools to segment an audience, to build interactive educational formats, to host content, to reach out to participants as well as to collect feedback and measure success
Feeling comfortable addressing larger audiences in a live environment and hosting IRL as well as digital events
A minimum of 6 years of experience in ecommerce, agency, holding company or partnerships
