Shopify is building something great and needs your help.
We’re on the hunt for a highly creative, insights-driven Brand Strategist who will help build the Shopify brand. We'd love to meet someone with a curious mind, and an insatiable interest in human behaviour, and perpetually interested in the “why”. This person ought also to have excellent creative communications chops and a collaborative spirit to help implement and execute our brand vision.
You'll need to have:
- An obsession with “why”
- "Full stack” planning experience, from brand strategy to connections planning, and everything in between
- 7+ years of strategic planning experience with a proven track record of impactful, insightful brand strategy
- A creative mind and an inquisitive spirit with an innate curiosity into human experience and popular trends Integrated communications planning experience across a range of executional channels including traditional, digital, and earned
- Experience building and socializing brand best practices
- Strong experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods
- The ability to leverage strategic insights to inform design and experience
- The ability to thrive on chaos and build planes while you fly them
You'll get to do things like:
- Build the Shopify brand
- Champion brand best practices and consistent brand expression across the organization
- Serve as the strategic lead for specific product lines and audience
- Support integrated marketing and communications, managing a broad range of stakeholders
- Work across the organization on developing creative briefs, communications plans, and help steward those plans coming to life
- Work with internal creative teams and external agencies to help these strategies come to life
