About the role
Shopify Plus is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive with proven performance in a quota-carrying role to help us build up the German market. As part of our Sales team, you are responsible for developing and executing account strategies to generate new business opportunities with large enterprises across the DACH region.
Extensive years of enterprise software sales experience. An emphasis on Cloud, SaaS, Martech and Commerce is preferred
Proven ability to develop, manage and close new business at C-level in major and complex accounts
Proactive, independent thinker with high energy and positive attitude working amongst the chaos of diving into a new market
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A passion for talking to people, understanding their unique business needs, and showing them how to 10x their business
Analytical mindset and a curiosity to solve problems
Desire to work in a team environment where you make each other better
Have an impact; be involved and do something incredible!
Fluent spoken and written German and English skills
Challenge the merchants status quo and help them to make the right decisions for their business to succeed
Manage and qualify multiple opportunities through the sales process to a successful close, in order to meet or exceed your quarterly sales quota
Act as a trusted advisor and establish lasting relationships with senior executives
Craft and drive strategic go-to-market plans to meet company growth goals
Serve as the voice of the merchant and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied merchants
