About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Integrated Marketing Manager to focus on US East marketing initiatives across Shopify’s brands, solutions, segments, and products. As the Integrated Marketing Manager on the Audience Acceleration team, you will be responsible for achieving targeted growth via campaigns and programs that drive impact for the business. You will use data, insights, and creative problem solving to gain a deep understanding of our key audiences and the products that serve them. 

You will build deep audience expertise to know which levers to pull to inspire action and movement across the funnel, and think beyond traditional inbound marketing methods to meet merchants where they are. Your mandate? Bring more businesses onto Shopify and enable existing Shopify merchants to continue their growth.

You know how to manage ambiguity and can be the first mover within a business when it comes to pitching concepts and creative problem solving. You don’t rely on how things have been done, instead, you lean into data, trends, creativity, and the community culture to guide your decisions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing, driving, and executing integrated GTM strategies that drive acquisition, product adoption, and retention across the US East region.  

  • Drive business impact by generating high quality pipeline and improving conversion rates across the funnel. 

  • Accountable for creating efficient working models to bring together global efforts and regional execution by building strong campaign strategy, field/virtual events, and sales/marketing alignment. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial leaders and individual contributors  (sales, partners, channels, data, business operations, marketing operations) within Shopify’s US East and broader Commercial team. 

  • Work with our regional marketing and commercial leaders to evaluate merchant research, market conditions and competitor data to inform decisions. 

  • Leverage CRM and performance data to tell a compelling user experience story, track conversion rates across the funnel, by campaign, by tactic, and make improvements to how we think about and execute integrated marketing campaigns. Share these insights and performance across the organization on a regular basis. 

  • Use insights and data to identify short term experimental opportunities and act quickly to drive incremental growth. 

  • Partner with field marketers when possible to accelerate the growth of brands and products.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience working in complex B2B SaaS organisations (startup or scaleup). 

  • Proven track record planning and executing multi-channel campaign strategies. 

  • Have a deep knowledge of full funnel marketing, from how we expand our product awareness, to how we demonstrate our value proposition through demand generation, cross-sell, upsell, referral and retention campaigns. 

  • Thorough knowledge of demand generation and marketing ROI including best practices, reporting and data analysis.

  • Background in Integrated Marketing, Growth Marketing, marketing consulting or a combination of corporate and field marketing. 

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence and work collaboratively across organizations.

  • Possess strong people and organizational skills with the ability to effectively assign, delegate, coordinate and monitor the work of multiple stakeholders across departments and the globe.

  • An innate sense of urgency and being able to create urgency for others to drive a program forward.

  • Detail-oriented and can always see the big picture. You have no trouble turning a multi-dimensional program tracker into an executive or top-line summary.

  • Accountability and dependability – a reputation for doing what you say you are going to do and a willingness to go beyond the call of duty. 

  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, as you will share and discuss the business at large as well as the impact of the US East marketing programs to the business and bottom line.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Salesforce, marketing automation tools (Marketo, ExactTarget or equivalent) and Paid platforms. 

  • Experience building account based marketing plans in partnership with Sales.

  • Open to working EST adjacent hours.  

  • Of course, a great sense of humor.
