This Revenue Operations role will support our entire Merchant Services product suite, and will be responsible for operating and building out a product embedded revenue operations program. You will be focused on optimizing our existing marketing and sales funnels, acting as a bridge between finance, sales, and marketing stakeholders, and providing timely data-informed feedback to sales and marketing teams.

This role requires someone that sees the big picture and will build the foundations of this program from the bottom up. Merchant Services Revenue Operations is a new implementation of an existing craft and will be our point-of-contact for marketing and revenue operations across Shopify.

This role will involve:

  • Leading and building a product focused Revenue Operations program within our Merchant Services product teams.

  • Detailed sales and marketing funnel analysis against targets, while providing timely feedback to marketing teams and capacity planning teams to quickly adjust to changing demands.

  • Working across disciplines (product, sales, data, marketing) to create unified solutions that help our merchants and go-to-market teams be more successful

  • Working with tools like Salesforce to design efficient revenue solutions and then implement them into production.

  • Designing data structures to ensure consistent and reliable data collection / reporting capability.

  • Designing and managing sales pipelines and marketing funnels.


Here’s what we’re hoping you’ll be able to bring to the role:

  • A systematic approach to product upsell and cross sell funnels and building strong self-serve and sales-assisted pipelines.

  • Experience designing data structures to ensure consistent and reliable data collection / reporting capability.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities across executive and organizational teams.

  • Deep tooling and systems architecture knowledge across sales and marketing tools.

  • Practical go-to-market experience or deep understanding of the experiences had with typical users of CRM tools.

  • Practical experience designing, building, and presenting reporting efforts surrounding Go to Market performance.

  • Having a mission focused and first principles approach to Revenue Operations to help rally teams, make good quick decisions, and ultimately have a strong impact on our business.

  • An outside-the-box thinker who’ll opinion about the way we do things and be empowered to make things better


And if you had these things on top of the above, we really want to hear from you:

  • Have Salesforce Admin or Advanced Admin Certification.

  • Product / Program Management and Data and Sales Analytics Experience.

  • Experience with SQL, Java, Python Languages.

  • Direct Experience with Exact Target or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
