About the role

As a Sales Enablement Learning Specialist for the Shopify Fulfillment Network (SFN), you will be responsible for designing, building, curating and delivering learning solutions and knowledge resources for the SFN Sales team. This content might include onboarding, specific feature or service related sales enablement, ongoing on-demand learning opportunities or skill development. You will be responsible for designing and delivering unique and engaging learning solutions to communicate product and feature changes in a way that is both engaging and scalable to enable our customer facing teams to sell more effectively.

Your role may include establishing and leading debriefs where you will have the opportunity to highlight product and feature changes, creating & curating a course catalog for the sales team to have the right information to ramp up new hires quickly, and leading sessions on tooling changes to help the sales team level up. You will be comfortable adapting your learning material to the changing needs of the sales team as SFN continues to grow and evolve, while also being a learning leader and confidently assessing needs or gaps as they are identified.

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end design and delivery of sales specific learning experiences and enablement programs to internal teams. 
  • Partner with sales leadership to ensure the people on their teams’ have the right knowledge and skills, at the right time to be successful in their roles and to support achievement of our collective goals
  • Own the creation of a highly impactful sales onboarding program
  • Support a culture of creativity, bias for action and passion for providing exceptional customer experience
  • Deliver high-quality learning experiences with content and programs that are scalable, and measurable. 
  • Work with sales leaders and learners to continuously improve learning content/programs  
  • Working in partnership with our sales leadership, develop and implement a scalable plan to continually and rapidly educate our merchant-facing teams on new products and features.


  • Experience in a sales environment, and with that, a deep empathy for the pain points that may exist for our merchant facing teams and a desire to create learning content that makes their selling more effective
  • Track record of leveling up a sales team in a fast paced environment
  • Experience working with sales, marketing and product teams to get the information you need to bring learning content to life
  • You have an understanding of the fulfillment industry, and as such, are able to confidently engage our sales team and meet them where they are to help deliver value to our merchants
  • Demonstrated track record of building and delivering training or enablement content, strategy, and being able to influence buy-in in a fast paced technology environment
  • A knack for creative problem solving and working independently and collaboratively while managing multiple projects concurrently 
  • Experience using e-learning authoring tools, Learning Management Systems and creating online instructional content
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, oral, and presentation). We are looking for someone who can champion the team to write and produce engaging learning experiences that are scalable and measurable
  • Creative leader who has worked to develop written and video content for education purposes

It would be a bonus if you have:

  • Enabled a sales team in the fulfillment industry 
  • Experience using and or teaching customer relationship management software such as Salesforce & Salesloft
  • Managed the end-to-end design and delivery of internal learning experiences for a SaaS company
  • Experience and understanding of ecommerce and business, including logistics, marketing, or technology 
  • An aptitude for research and/or data analysis
  • Superpower technical skills that result creating content that results in amazing learning experiences
