The Shopify Financial Solutions team works directly with notable brands and entrepreneurs to develop their commerce strategies and accelerate their growth. Shopify Payments is the simplest way to accept payments from shoppers, and Shopify Capital gives entrepreneurs the boost they need to get their amazing ideas off the ground or take their business to the next level. This is where you come in. We’re looking for highly driven individuals to join the team and become subject-matter experts in the financial solutions we offer merchants. Your day to day will require you to understand our competitive landscape so you are able to speak to our merchant’s needs and requirements while articulating the unique value of our offerings.

Qualifications

You’ll need to have:

  • Full Sales Cycle experience preferably in technology/software environment

  • Ability to create and execute a territory plan

  • High energy and strong work ethic driving towards meeting or exceeding the teams and individual goals

  • The ability to work in a self-directed manner navigating through a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

  • A passion for talking to people, curiosity for understanding their unique business needs, and showing them how to 10X their business

  • Excellent relationship, communication, and influence skills

  • A love for trying new things, iterating and then diving in again

  • A sense of adventure and an entrepreneurial spirit

  • Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset

  • Ability to learn and collaborate with a team remotely

  • A proven history of excellence and track record of success

Requirements for the role: 

  • A passion for fintech and the future of finance 

  • Able to think creatively, challenge assumptions and comfortably speak about financial products

  • A general understanding of Shopify’s financial products and the fin-tech landscape. 

  • Previous experience within the Payments or Lending industries.
