The Business Operations team sits in the centre of the organisation, linking together different functional groups and enabling scalable growth through business insights, technology and process. Business operations really are the connective tissue of our organisation, ensuring we build consistency through our merchants journey with us at every stage. 

As a Senior Business Operations Planning & Business cadence Analyst, you will be the first person in EMEA with such a role, giving you significant exposure to both global and regional cross-functional teams. Working in a fast-paced environment, your subject matter expertise will pave the way for how we operate and optimise every part of the customer journey, by building scalable infrastructure and analytics that drives effective decision making.

You’ll get to do things like:

  • Planning: Be the custodian of the EMEA Fiscal plan & planning process. 

    • Optimise the plan design & reporting around regional structures, quota, target phasing, and support finance and global sales & revenue operations in alignment to Corporate plans. 

    • Drive the EMEA quarterly planning process: Communicate and coordinate with Sales Managers/Sales Teams & other business operational team members. 

    • Develop models and provide recommendations to Sales, Marketing and Partnerships to deliver on quarterly and annual numbers. 

  • Help us structure and drive our business cadence & Rhythm: 

    • Support with all necessary data & analytics, including financial metrics & the sales forecasts, the EMEA weekly, monthly & quarterly cadence

    • Drive our rhythm and analytics around Pipeline/funnel velocity (time to win, close & win rates) analysis

  • Improve our Insights and analytics:

    • Own and develop a portfolio of Sales, Marketing and Partner metrics to the realities of the EMEA region and the current stage of the business. 

    • Produce and drive insights around the key business metrics to help drive the GTM across all of our markets in EMEA

    • SFDC Dashboard & Report design, extraction, publication/automation to optimise daily workflows and insights. Own EMEA level SFDC data, including account ownership and assignment rules. Develop reports and dashboards .

    • Develop best practices and visibility around CRM hygiene. Enable the Sales team to improve efficiencies as we think about pipeline health.

  • Identify where and how we can grow  

    • Recommend and operationalize optimal territory structures across EMEA. Use territory-based analysis to inform capacity and hiring decisions in the sales team as we scale into new markets.

    • Build market specific Total addressable market (TAM) and Whitespace accounts lists, cross-sell lists 

  • Own and collaborate in cross functional projects/experiments 

    • Nurture strong relationships with internal customers (Sales and Partnerships) and internal partners (especially Marketing, Finance, Global Sales Operations and Data Science). Ensure constant alignment of priorities. Effectively navigate the organisation to unblock challenges, solicit support and keep projects moving forward.

    • Liaise with APAC & WeCAN counterparts to ensure best of breed sharing on programs and initiatives.  


Requirements for the role:

  • Expert in Excel/SQL and/or google sheets. Able to pull various raw data from databases  and write complex formulas to aggregate data.

  • Proven experience with data management and administration to author, design and improve dashboards 

  • Passion for automation, increasing efficiencies & working with technology and data

  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations, story-telling, facilitation and consultative questioning

  • Ability to be proactive and relentless: capable of seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, and corralling resources and delivering results

Nice to have for the role:

  • MODE, Tableau experience ideal

  • Experience reporting on campaigns, using analytical tools such as Mode, Bizible, Google Analytics advantageous 

  • Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms such as Marketo and Marketing Cloud advantageous

  • Comfortable learning new applications/tools quickly with minimal direction
