Starting today, developers can begin building new sales channels for Shopify. Your potential customers are spending their time, and likely shopping, in lots of different apps, platforms, and marketplaces. Now, you’ll be able to use Shopify to easily sell in all of them.

Sell on Ebates, Houzz, Wanelo, and more...

Already, some of the world’s most popular apps are taking advantage of this. Soon you’ll be able to use Shopify to sell on Ebates, Houzz, and Wanelo, with even more channels coming soon.

Ebates, a pioneer and leader in online cashback shopping, makes it easy for consumers to shop for all their favourite brands in one place, either through the Ebates website or their mobile app. It’s the perfect channel for getting your products in front of a broad, growing community of shoppers.

Houzz, a popular interior design app, makes it easy to discover home improvement ideas while shopping for the products to accomplish them. With Houzz, users can snap photos and see what your products will look like in their house.

Wanelo, or Want, Need, Love, provides shoppers with a personalized feed of products, while also making it easy to find out what’s popular with other people. Most of their traffic is mobile, so selling on Wanelo will help you carve out space where people spend most of their time: their phone.

Hundreds of channels, one place to manage them

To make selling through multiple channels even easier, we’ve made some improvements to Shopify. These improvements, which will be rolling out over the coming weeks, refine the channels experience and make it easier to explore new ways to grow your business.

To start, we’ve add a new item to the left navigation in Shopify. This navigation item gives you direct access to the channels section of Shopify.

From the new sales channel section, you can easily discover new places to sell, view their settings, and access their unique features, all in one place.

Over the coming months, we’ll be offering even more sales channels that you can connect to Shopify, and you’ll be able to access them all through this section.
