Imagine someone told you that you only had 1 year left to live. How would that change your life? For all of us life comes with a best-before date, and one day we’ll find ourselves at the end of the line. Gee, you’re thinking, this is a really depressing introduction! But, wait, there’s good news too! While death is nonnegotiable, life isn’t. The good news is that life is what you make of it. All we have to do is learn how to cherish the time and the life that we have been given, to seize the day and follow our hearts.

And that’s why we’ve created TIKKER, the death watch that counts down your life, just so you can make every second count, and have the time of your life.

Forget all about ‘smart watches’ that will keep you connected to your work email 24 / 7. How about a watch that is designed to actually make you happier, and help you to better enjoy life? In other words, a happiness watch.

With Tikker the wearer simply fills out a questionaire, deducts his/her current age from the results, and Tikker is ready to start the countdown of its wearers statistical life expectancy, from years to seconds.

Tikker was released in July 2014 and had pre-sales of $180 000.00. Tikker has been featured in Time Magazine, CNN, NPR Morning Edition, Colbert Nation, NBC, Mashable, BBC, and many more both national and international media.

Tikker was conceived 10 years ago by founder Fredrik Colting when his grandfather passed away. It made him think about death and the transience of life, and he realized that nothing matters when you are dead. Instead what matters is the choices we make when we are alive.

Our goal is to turn Tikker into a major lifestyle brand that blends philosophy and technology, in consumer electronics.

Tikker already enjoys great support from friends and customers from all around the world. Preorders had come in from such far flung places as Japan, Brazil, Australia, France, Italy, Sweden, China, South Africa, and the UK.
