Method number two is using product spying tools and websites. One of my favorites, and you might know this as well, is called Drop Point. So basically, this website shortcuts this entire process of seeing advertisements. So with the Facebook method, it's not the most efficient in finding winning advertisements because you're gonna have to scroll through a lot of advertisements that are potentially not even dropshipping advertisements as well. With a site like Drop Point, you're only seeing advertisements. So here's how you use this website. First off, you should register for an account.
We should have a link somewhere for you to be able to access the site. You're gonna click "register" and create an account. So I'm just going to go ahead and sign in and show you how to use the site. So the first filter we have is the live advertisement filter. Now, these are advertisements that are currently collected by this website. So as you can see, we have some non-dropshipping advertisements and we also have some dropshipping advertisements like this one.
When we see another dropshipping advertisement like this one, we see, I'm assuming this one is a dropshipping advertisement. It might be. We have this one as well. So let's just say this is a dropshipping advertisement. So we're going to go ahead and click on this. And then we're going to click on the Facebook ad. Now, sometimes, these Facebook links, they're not always active, they don't always work. So you can click on multiple ones to see which one is the best advertisement. We see that it was uploaded on August 28th and today is actually September 3rd.
So this is definitely a fresh product. Now, let's see how many views that product has or this advertisement has. So we're going to click on it and we see that as 77,000 views. Now, as I said, the number of views that indicates it's a winning product varies according to how recently the advertisement was launched. So this one was launched just a couple of days ago and it already has 77,000 views, which is very significant. That means they're spending a lot of money to make this advertisement seen.
This data validates that this product is desirable and that people are interested in this product, people are engaged with this product. So, therefore, this product does qualify as a fresh winning product. Now, of course, you shouldn't just test it immediately just because you see it's working. You should look at the product, you should look at the other criteria of a winning product and see if this product ultimately qualifies. And just a side note, you're going to see a lot of advertisements that are based in the Philippines market. However, the concept is still the same.
If you see an advertisement that has a lot of views and has a lot of engagement, then that product has been validated regardless of what marketplace it is. So that's just one example. Let's move on to a couple of other examples. Now, we see this product, it's a classic dropshipping product that I'm very aware of. So we're gonna click this and we're just going to click on one of these links. And we see this product was uploaded a little while ago, July 13th. So it does not qualify.
So we would disregard that and you could play around with these filters right here. So what I typically do is I do "United States" just because that's the dominant one for dropshippers. You can do the "last seen ads." I typically do the "shop now" button. I typically do videos only, and you can do "ads seen in this month." So again, we're only searching for fresh winning products here.
But if you were trying to find the other types of products, you can play around with these filters as well. So after applying that filter, let's see if we find any other fresh winning products. So let's see what this product is. So this one was uploaded on July 31st, which is not entirely fresh. So keep in mind these filters are not always going to be 100 percent accurate. You might see some advertisements that don't necessarily apply within these filters. So we're just going to keep scrolling.
And we see this advertisement right here. So let's click on that. And we see that this one was uploaded on August 15th, which is within the past month. So let's go in and see the number of views it has. It has a million views, over a million views within the past three weeks. So this product definitely qualifies as a fresh winning product. We have evidence that this product was validated and this product is working very well for this advertiser. So we can try to hop on this product immediately and try to capture some of this demand of this product.
And the benefit of these fresh winning products is that you have a lot of reference points to look back on. We can see this advertiser's captions. We can see how they marketed it. We can see their marketing angles. We can see how they, we can of course see how they compilated this video advertisement, the footage they used, and then we can see their product page. Now, we have all of the product page descriptions right here. We have images.
We have a lot of content that we can replicate and also improve upon. So as you can see, this product page does not look entirely attractive. If we were to see what this product looks like on the mobile screen, then you can see this product page has walls and walls of texts. Not a lot of people like to read paragraphs and paragraphs of text, especially if they're coming off of their Facebook newsfeed, which is entirely visual-based.
So a good way to improve upon the marketing of this product would be to have a better-looking product page. You could have images in between, you could have gifs, you could have video footages, you can improve upon a lot on this product right here. So that is a classic example. And you would essentially keep repeating this. So for example, we see a product here, click on that. And we would go here. We see that this product was uploaded within the past month and we click on it.
And then we see the number of views. So 300,000 views within the past two weeks. Now this one is definitely not as saturated and definitely not as competitive as the previous advertisement that had 1.6 million views. This one only has 200,000 views and only about two weeks ago. So there is a good opportunity to hop on this product while it's still quite early on. So you can also explore this other category, "winning ali products." Now, unlike the category "live advertisement filter," these are just products and they don't have any advertisements associated with them.
And then we have our third category, which is the "winning advertisement" category. So let's take this example. It says it was less than two days ago, but that does not mean that this advertisement was launched two days ago. So we're going to click it, click on the Facebook ad link, and see that this was uploaded within the past month. And this has several millions of views, yup, 1.4 million views in about two weeks. So this is still quite early on. And again, you don't want to test the product solely based on the number of views it has and the freshness of the product.
You also want to take into account the other factors such as, "Does this product have a massive "wow" factor? Does this product have good marketability or high perceived value?" So you definitely want to be thinking about all the criteria of a winning product when you're thinking about testing a product. And that is that. So these are the two methods that you can use in order to find fresh winning products and Drop Point is specifically just one ad spying website. There are a lot of other similar ad spying websites, such as BigSpy, Adspy, New Product Spy, there are several others.
So these tools all more or less act in the same way, they all collect and display winning advertisements for you to be able to spy on and potentially hop on as well. These sites also all have filters that you can play around with. So you can use all these different spying tools, but just make sure that whatever spy tools you use, that they upload a large number of advertisements every single day. So I would avoid any product research sites that only upload two to four products a day because let's say if that site only had a thousand members, that's a thousand people every single day hopping on those two to four products uploaded every single day. That is not a very good ratio.
So you definitely want to use sites that upload hundreds and hundreds of products or advertisements every single day or every other day. That way, not everybody is hopping on the same products. So there you go. That's how you find your fresh winning product. Now that you're equipped with that understanding, here's your first homework assignment. You should spend at least two to four hours finding these fresh products using these two methods, and then put your product findings onto the attached product testing sheet.
After you're done, you're not going to test them immediately just yet. We're going to proceed onto the next lessons and ultimately do more product research, find more product findings, put them all into the spreadsheet, and then ultimately conclude which products we're actually going to test out of all of these product findings you found in your product research sheet. So go ahead and spend those two to four hours on these product research methods. And I'll see you in the next lesson.
