The KISS principle otherwise known as “keep it simple, stupid”. States that most things work best if they’re kept simple rather than made complicated. And one of the biggest mistakes I see people making is they create complicated offers that customers either don’t understand or can’t figure out how to take advantage of. I’m a big fan of keeping things simple. So in this lesson, we’ll go over how to design your website
to maximize conversions and handle the increased Russian traffic while keeping it very simple. Let’s get started. The reason why I recommend using viper to build up your presale email list is because it incentivizes people to share campaign with their friends. So let’s say you only have 10 people on your list. If those people share with five friends that sign up.
You know all of a sudden have 50 people 40 brand new on your presale is just like that. So in some of my most viral campaigns I’ve gotten one person to share it with friends that 45 of their friends signed up. So now you can see how quickly this can grow your list very fast. You can use a regular landing page builder, but I highly recommend doing it this way.
So let’s get started. All right. So now we’re going to get into the actual web site setup. I mentioned before that. Keeping it very simple and having something very easy to follow is key to making this all work. And I like to use this landing page builder tool called zipper five pages there many of them on Shopify in the app store you can find them there.
And this is just a really cool example of what I want you guys to create. So when someone lands on this page, they see some of your best products. Some holiday decorations. And very quickly 50% off our most popular items and then an image of what they’re going to get.
And a very easy breakdown by to get this by 3 get a bigger discount. So on and so forth. All the methods that we talked about before. And when they hit the shop Save button. This is going to lead them over to your product page where this item should be sitting. And the best way to pull this off is and by the way,
this is exactly what the Good Morning America deals and sales kind of page does. And so whenever they’re up again, pay attention to it for some inspiration. But this is exactly all you need. And the best way to pull this off when you go over to the product page is to create a holiday sales collection where you’re going to create these specially priced discounted products.
And then throughout the year. You could just hide the collection from your page. So you don’t need to go through and make all these updates on every product all the time. That can be very time consuming. You just want to make the variance, the different bundles within your discount built in. So what I mean by that is if this is your product you can choose a shorts or shirt small, medium, large,
you just want to make that variant. The buy two variant with the price already built in or from the dropdown by three very with his price already dropped. And so very quickly when they click this button they want to buy three. They click this button, you say choose the quantity they choose the quantity and the price is already updated. You don’t need them to create any discount codes
or do anything like that to complicate the scenario you want to make it very simple for your customers Another way you can do this is by searching a quantity breaks app in the Shopify app store and they’re over there 56 of them. And these basically interact differently based on your themes. And so you may want to try I wanted
to check out the reviews to make sure if it’s best for you. It’s also, this is something you can do if you have a lot of SKUs that do well. And you can’t manually create that for all of your products. This is a much easier way to do that. The example before is if you have a limited number of SKUs or if the majority of your sales come from a handful of SKUs.
So use this if you have plenty of sale or SKUs and use this strategy. If you have a very limited amount of SKUs and just remember, keep it very simple. You don’t want to overcomplicate things. The let the least amount of steps you can create for your customers to check out and purchase with you the happier you would be and the happier your pockets are going to be.
So keep it very simple keep it simple, stupid. All right. See you in the next video. Guys
