Part of why this works so well is that you put your offer in front of the customers who are most likely to buy and spend the most money with your brand. Don’t worry if you don’t have a large audience we’ll go over what to do to build up a new audience before you launch your offer and how to prime them and keep them excited leading up to your holiday sale. Let’s get started. All right.
So who should we target. I talked all about this warm and hot audience thing now. How do we actually get in front of them. So before we jump into that, I just want to make sure everyone’s on the same page about what a warm in hot audience is. And so the best way to think of this is through this framework called the upside framework
and let’s just take, for example, let’s just say use a very basic example. And let’s say I let’s say you whoever is listening to this video has some sort of pain in your mouth, but you’re unaware of something called a cavity. And so you’d be in this US right. And then let’s say all of a sudden you become somehow aware that this pain in your mouth is caused by something called a cavity.
But you don’t know that a dentist is around. And this person could actually take care of that cavity, which would relieve and alleviate the pain you feel your mouth. And so when you realize that there’s a dentist you’re now at the solutions phase. But let’s say now. Come on Cotner is a dentist and you become aware that I am someone who can provide you
with some dental services to take care of the cavity that’s causing you pain in your mouth. And then now we get to the d phase. And this is where you’re now interested in what are my reviews. Do I take your insurance. How far is my office from you what are my ratings. And this is kind of like the process that everyone goes through when they go to make a purchase online, whether you
take you know, a few minutes to go through this process or more complex sales take a lot longer when everyone goes through this process mentally. And so how that relates to e-commerce is that people in the solution. Your solution and deal phase are the warm and ready to buy audience and how that audiences and how that looks in people visiting or interacting with your brand
or people who follow you on social media, people who has visited your web site taken a look at your blog to take a look at your products right. They know you exist as a solution. People who’ve actually visited your products and looked at a couple of things that they like or added to cart or even purchased or people who are repeat customers.
The only thing missing on this are people who are also on your list. So email this text message list Facebook Messenger list what have you. YouTube social media followers Pinterest et cetera. But you get the point. These are people who already know you exist as a solution provider. This is where you want to spend most of your time. And if you don’t have a really huge list
of people who know you. One of the best things you can do prior to going live with your sale or launching a new product is using a tool called viper viper is something that I’ve been using now for a few years. And it’s an amazing tool to really create presale contests or giveaway contests that go viral. So here’s a case study from a brand that
was able to get 41,000 new emails and 37 new social media followers by using this viper social giveaway tool right. And let me explain how it actually works. Impressive numbers. And so this is a landing page giveaway tool where by sign up for account.
You have a pre-built kind of landing page, you can drag and drop make it on brand and you essentially give away something. So if you are a health and beauty brand or something kind of low cost. You can give away a six month supply of something if you’re more of the higher inside, you can give away create a package of products that are worth you know $500,000 worth of value.
And you essentially say, hey, sign up. Give me your email address and whoever has the most points wins or I like to say the top five people who have the most points win and how you allow your customers to accumulate points as by having these actions. So if they share it on any of their social media Facebook,
email, text they get 20 points as you can see here or if they share your link on their Facebook account or follow you on Instagram or follow your second page on Instagram or subscribe to your channel. You can. There’s a handful of ways that you can assign points. Essentially you want to launch its campaign for about two weeks. And you want to share it with your email list posted
on your story. What happens is, let’s say I encourage you to share and you sign up because you want to win whenever my prizes. And then because of these incentives you then share that with your significant other or your brother or a co-worker who knows likes and trust you and believes that you are someone who is credible. And they also would like to win.
So they because they know you and you share that with them or they see you share it on your Facebook or an Instagram or what have you. Now they go in, and they get points. And then they share out and just gets viral. And it’s a compound effect that before you know it, you’re looking at $41,000 emails over the course of a few weeks. And this is the best way to take an existing small list
and exponentially grow it with people who have similar interests in a credible way. And there is a certain type of thing that you need to do throughout this campaign. You should actually send emails one introducing whoever signed up to like your brand story and which you represent. And also, we’d like to at the end of the campaign offer everyone a discount or first access to the sale.
And I often always see a huge surge in sales just from this alone even before launch in the sales campaign. So we’ll go over exactly how you can do this and how you can use Facebook ads to amplify this and to grow your list fast using viper. And I just wanted to give you an overall idea of what audiences
we’re going to be targeting why it’s important, and how to build up your audience. If you don’t have a huge audience yet. Even if you do have any judgment. If you have a huge audience you should always use this to presale an upper income and sale you will multiply the amount of impact your store is able to make revenue wise. So you would be very smart to follow this process.
