No More Pain Ergonomics

Introduce your business and tell us your story: How did you decide on what to sell, and how did you source your products?

I started back in 2014 when I had the idea to sell ergonomic equipment and help people resolve their aches and pains. I started by sourcing a small range of products from China, and after quickly selling out, expanded the product range to meet the demands of our customer base.

How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?

Our first sale came from one of the big universities in Australia. Our biggest sales channel is now online through our Google product listing advertisements.

Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?

Using Shopify makes tracking and managing our sales a breeze. We also use Xero for accounting and Autopilot HQ for automated marketing. We use Australia Post for our shipping and are hoping to move to fulfillment warehouse later this year.

What are your top recommendations for new store owners?

Start small and test the market. Sell products that you have a genuine interest and knowledge of. Help solve your customers problems. Put yourself in their shoes and think about they are looking for, and what will appeal to them during their research.
