Introduce your business and tell us your story: How did you decide on what to sell, and how did you source your products?
We create beautiful tech products, and Shopify was the partner we needed to best bring them to market. Our products are designed in-house and manufactured overseas.
How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
We started as a Kickstarter company which gave us the social foundation to grow and market to a wide range of customers. Social, adwords, and email marketing drive the most traffic and sales for us.
Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?
Klaviyo has been huge for us, and Facebook marketing is a major tool for us as well. We just integrated AfterShip and have really found it useful for keeping customers informed of their shipments. We fulfill orders through a 3PL partner in the US.
What are your top recommendations for new store owners?
Take the time to research and find apps that can help you best succeed. Shopify gives you a great foundation to build your business upon and all the apps give you the tools you need.
