How it works

Step one

Submit your referral

Submit the Partner POS lead form or a qualified lead through the Shopify Partner Dashboard, or complete a development store transfer to the merchant.

Step two

Your merchant activates

For POS Pro, the merchant is in an eligible location and goes live on a POS Pro subscription. For B2B, the merchant activates a Shopify Plus plan with the B2B sales channel enabled.

Step three

They make their first payment

The merchant pays their initial POS Pro subscription fee or Plus platform fee, exclusive of any applied credits, by 11:59 PM EST on December 31, 2026.

Will I still earn the standard Plus payout on a B2B referral?

To be eligible for standard Plus Payout alongside B2B, both a Plus and B2B referral need to be recorded.

To qualify for the $500 USD bonus, each referred merchant must meet all of the following by 11:59 PM EST on December 31, 2026, unless a different deadline is stated below:

The referral was submitted through the Partner POS lead form in the Shopify Partner Dashboard, or the development store transfer to the merchant is complete.
Referrals must be made in an eligible merchant location: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, UK, USA.
The merchant completes one live transaction on a POS Pro subscription and makes their first payment by 11:59 PM EST on December 31, 2026, and completes a total of 10 live transactions on POS Pro or B2B by January 31, 2027.

Shopify B2B

To qualify for the $2,500 USD bonus, each referred merchant must meet all of the following by 11:59 PM EST on December 31, 2026:

The referral was submitted as a qualified lead through the Shopify Partner Dashboard, or the development store transfer to the merchant is complete.
The merchant has activated a Shopify Plus plan with the B2B sales channel enabled.
The merchant has successfully paid their initial platform fee payment, exclusive of any applied platform fee credits.
To be eligible for standard Plus Payout alongside B2B, both a Plus and B2B referral need to be recorded.

A single merchant that activates both Shopify POS Pro and Shopify B2B within the Promotion Period may generate both bonuses, for a combined total of $3,000 USD under this promotion.
