EuroImage Tuning

We started machining car parts for later model VW's out of pure necessity. I have been into cars my whole life and there was a lack of parts I needed for my car, so I did the only sensible thing I could think of - make my own.

This quickly led to others wanting these parts and we branched out into making larger quantities of these parts. Now almost 10 years later this hobby has turned into a full time career.

How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?

When we first started selling our parts we utilized word of mouth and forums primarily. We did not even have a website for the longest time, as most of our sales were local.

Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?

As of recent I have been experimenting with different apps to try to increase sales and minimize abandoned orders. All or most of the Shopify apps are in use on my store.

What are your top recommendations for new ecommerce entrepreneurs?

I think the best thing to do when starting a store is to look at as many options as you have for lay out and organization. You want to make things easy to navigate and also not over complicate your page.

Make sure you have a very critical friend that you can show your initial design to for some up front feedback. Experiment with different apps, there is a ton of free stuff that works great for what type of business you are trying to run.
