In June of 2013 my My partner and I were both 22 years old and decided to drop out of college to pursue our entrepreneurial efforts. We founded our company MVMT Watches on the 2nd largest crowdfunding platform called Indiegogo. We set a goal of $15,000 and 60 days later ended at a whopping $220,000. We made indiegogo history and become the 2nd highest funded fashion campaign ever. Since then we’ve had press hits on sites like AskMen, Playboy, Complex, British GQ, Hypebeast and many more. We also were picked up by Urban Outfitters and have been put in more than 30 stores around the world along with being sold online. We recently moved to Shopify 2 months ago and are now in 10th place for the build a business contest.
Our companies vision has been to create high quality watches that can be worn in a professional or casual setting but stays at an affordable price. So many watch companies out there inflate their prices simply because they can but we disagree with that mentality and have set out to show people they can purchase quality products and reasonable prices.
