What gets measured gets improved and in this lesson, George takes you through how you can keep track of your progress at improving your repeat purchase rate and knowing whether you’re on track or not.

[MUSIC PLAYING] After putting all the effort into creating and optimizing these email automations, you probably want to know, has it all been worth it? The best way to find out is by looking at your repeat purchase rate. At the start of the course, I got you to head over to your Shopify dashboard and record this number to establish a baseline. If you haven't done this yet, go and record this number now. Instructions on where to find the number are in the second lesson of the course.
Once you have your baseline, you should gradually notice the figure start to improve, especially if you've taken the baseline before you started implementing these emails. Another useful way to measure your success is to look at how many sales each automation you've set is generating. You'll find these numbers in your email app with their conversion, open, and click-through rate. Most email apps will let you easily see these stats as well as give you a breakdown of which sales were generated by which campaigns.
Keeping an eye on these figures is also useful as you make improvements over time. Knowing these figures will be vital if you decide to A/B test your campaigns too.
