You’ve probably seen this number in your website stats and your conversion rate is just the percentage of visitors that convert into customers
by making a purchase on your site to know what to expect. It’s good to look at industry averages and benchmarks. Each industry will be different and depending on the type of product you sell, you can expect a higher or lower conversion rate than the average.
