Text marketing is naturally a two way communication channel. And if you engage in text marking you should treat it as such. So as you're running your text marketing consumers are going to want to text you back with questions. And I always recommend every marketer that is engaging in test marketing to respond to their customers back. So what I want to do in this video is show exactly how customer support works in text marketing.
So let's jump into my computer here. And the first thing that I want to show you is the responses tab. Now earlier when we sent that text message to my phone. I responded and actually replied with a question. And the question that I replied was do you offer free shipping as you can see right here on my screen. Now under the responses tab. If you click right here and refresh the view, you can see that my response came back in the responses tab.
And if you click Reply you're going to be able to text me back. So let's go ahead and reply here. So I'm going to say, yes, we do offer free shipping use code free ship checkout and I'm going to and I'm going to do a few things.
You can add a product UL I can add a discount, a coupon et cetera. So what I want to do here is add a product. Maybe this is the product that they're interested in the quantity here, the product you are well there you go.
I'm going to click space and in the period here. And what I can do is send that reply. And if I go back to my phone you can see that the response has come through right here. This is exactly the text that we have created right here. So this is how customer support works when it comes to text marketing. Like I said text is a two way communication channel. And if you're engaging in text marketing, you should be responding to your customers.
Now the second part is doing an integration. So if you're using another app like gorgeous for our customer support. You can set up that integration here and how that works is if customers are replying back those responses can go into gorgeous as a ticket. This is something that you can set up right here. And they also have a Zendesk integration as well. Now that's how customer support works when it comes to text marketing.
And like I said, always respond to your customers because it really helps in increasing your revenue as well.
