In this lesson, I want to walk you through how to send your first promotional text message. So let's jump into my computer to get started. The first thing that I want to walk you through here is what type of content you can send on a weekly basis. The most important one here is benefits. So benefits of your product that you can send on a weekly basis to convince your list to make that purchase. Second, you have promotions like black Friday campaigns for 4 July Columbus day or any type of holiday that's going on during the week.

That's something that you can send to your list. And lastly, you have social proof campaign, which is basically content around celebrities or influencers or different milestones that you've hit with your brand that you can send to your list to motivate them to take that next step and make that purchase. So now we're going to jump in to post script and what I want to walk you through here is how to set up that promotional text. So we're going to jump into campaigns from the dashboard create a new campaign.

So I'm going to come back here. And as you can see, we have different examples of these types of messages that you can send. So what I want to do here is copy over the black Friday campaign someone a name this campaign. Black Friday. And as you can see right here you have different segments that you can send to. And like I mention under the segments tab, you can create different segments based on average order value products that were purchased engagement activity but because this is a black Friday campaign and we want to send it to our entire customers list.

So I'm going to paste that message right here. I'm going to also paste in our website URL and like I said pacing in your website, your role is going to automatically create that shirt link that is going to track the performance of your campaign. We're also going to add a gift right here just to create some more excitement.

So let's go ahead and upload this gif and once that is uploaded we're going to send a text message. So let's go ahead and click save and continue. We're going to click send me a test. I'm going to type in my phone number.

Click send and when I jump to my phone, you're going to see that text message come through right now. And as you can see, this is exactly the text that we just created right here. Once everything looks good to you, you can go ahead and click send the campaign click OK. And because we don't have anyone on the list is actually not going to send it.

But if we have subscribers coming through is it to show your total number of subscribers right here. And that message you would send that to your list of subscribers.
