Welcome to Lesson than three. And in this video, I'm going to give you a quick overview of the platform. Postscript as well as how to set up your text opt in. On the mobile device. Somebody jump into my computer. So we can get started now. Once you have postscript insults, just go in the apps section. And then click on postscript and once you click on it, it's going to take you to the dashboard.
Now there's going to be a quick onboarding flow that you're going to get into. That was set up by postscript. Just go ahead and skip through everything and come to the dashboard. Now on the dashboard, you're going to have a few things here. So you have your data points like how many new subscribers you have how many responses received. Meaning one you're sending these text messages. How many people actually responded.
And finally, how much revenue you've generated. And if you have launched any automation is like a welcome flow or an abandoned car, you're going to see that here as well as campaigns et cetera and also you can filter by date and the next stop. Here's where you see your automation. Now when postscript is installed, it's already integrated with your Shopify store.
You don't need to install any code or anything to pull that data automatically into postscript. And when you set up those automation, you're going to be able to see him right here. And we're going to go over that in the next module on their campaign. This is where you broadcast if you have a 4th of July campaign or any sort of promotional content or any sort of updates that you want to send to your subscribers lists you can do that here segments.
Here's where you can segment your entire list of subscribers. So if you want to create an audience of people who have purchase a product that is that cost more than $100 you can do that here. If you want a target by zip code location and website activity clicks et cetera you can do that on their segmentation keywords. This is a very important part.
So keywords help you track where someone is subscribed from. And when we dive into your mobile opt in. I'm going to show you exactly how this works. Responses if a customer text you back. You're going to see those responses here. And you can have your customer support team or even yourself. Text those customers back directly from the responses tab growth list. So here are some of the other different ways that you can acquire a text subscriber.
You can create a landing page a QR code and all this different stuff here. Pop UPS. This is what we're going to talk about in this video how to create your first mobile pop up checkout. You can have a checkbox at checkout. If you remember, in the previous video, I talked about how if someone makes a purchase they give you their phone number that don't give you consent. Well, if there are a check out you can have a checkbox at checkout for them to get opt in integrations.
If you want to integrate with other apps like gorgeous for customer support just to know all that here you have all those apps right here. And finally analytics. This is where you're able to see all the data come in. How many subscribers clicks how many credits you've used click through eight revenue orders on subscriber rates et cetera. Now the first thing that I want to go over is the pop up and specifically the mobile pop up.
Now, before we dive into that. I want to show you how this keyword works. So if we click edit here you can see that if you click edit here as well. There's the ability to select which keyword you want to attach to this pop up. Now this keyword helps you track right here under the keyword section.
How many people have actually triggered that keyword. How many messages were sent. How many people clicked how many ordered and how much did you earn per subscriber. So make sure that you have that keyword enabled. And then come back to pop UPS edit. And here we're going to design that first mobile pop up. Now, I recommend having a full screen pop up, as you can see right here you can have a partial screen or a full screen.
I've seen four screens perform so much better in terms of conversion rates every single time. And I recommend having a background image. So click use image right here, Choose File. And then you can go ahead and upload an image someone upload this image right here. And when it comes to pop UPS.
I recommend having an incentive. So here we're doing a subscribe and get $30 off and you can edit that right here. So if you want to have $25 of $30 off, you can see that the tax is changing right here as well as I change it in this left column. So we're doing a $30 off and you can change this tax. Now the structure of the pop up does not change, but you can only change the text.
Now this is how you can quickly launch this pop up and it's totally built into the postscript platform. Here you can exclude certain pages. So for example, if you want to. I should say is this one right here. If you want to exclude checkout you can do for slash checkout or if you want to exclude certain pages. You can just add a comma right here. And then you can add that specific page that you want to exclude and you can do the same here if you only want to include the paper on certain pages.
You can do that. You can choose to have it live in the US and Canada. I'm going to pick us only. But you can choose to do Canada if you'd like. Now you can choose to also have a bubble. So when this pop up is minimized it can turn into a bubble. Right I typically like to just leave it on exit. And once you save this pop up right here.
Go ahead and save pop up without a coupon. We're going to turn alive and I'm going to move over to the demo site and then show you what it looks like. So we have my phone pulled up right here. And what I'm going to do is refresh this page, and you'll see that the pop up is live on site. And this opt in mechanism is really special because the customer does not have to type in their phone number.
All they have to do is click that get 30 dollar off coupon button, it will open up their messaging app just like this. They would send a text and they would get subscribed. So that's how you set up your mobile opt in. It's really simple. Make sure that you edit all of your text on the pop up. And it matches what your brand looks and feels like.
And once you have it just turn it on. Test it out on your mobile phone and you should be good to go. So that was the first part of acquiring subscribers. So as the customer is coming to your mobile site. This is giving them the opportunity to subscribe to your text list in the next video, we're going to talk about how to get subscribers on the mobile traffic.
