Shopify Gold Pricing Definitions
Last updated: February 1, 2017
The definitions listed below (“Pricing Definitions”) apply to the Shopify Gold Agreement between Customer and Shopify (“Agreement”). The Pricing Definitions are in addition to the definitions set out in the Agreement. In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between the Pricing Definitions and any terms or conditions set out in the Agreement, the Pricing Definitions will prevail solely to the extent required to resolve any such conflict or inconsistency. Shopify reserves the right to update and change the Pricing Definitions from time to time. If Shopify makes a material change to the Pricing Definitions, Shopify will notify Customer. Such notice may be provided via email or by posting a notice in the administrative console for the Store(s). Any undefined capitalized terms used in this document have the meaning given to them in the Agreement.
“Eligible Gateway Transaction” means the net value of any online transactions processed through the Store(s), excluding (i) transactions processed via Manual Gateways; and (ii) Imported Orders.
“Eligible Platform Transaction” means the net value of any online or POS transactions processed through the Store(s), excluding any Imported Orders.
“Imported Orders” means any orders (1) processed on a platform other than Shopify, and later imported into the Customer’s administrative console; or (2) originally processed on Shopify for one Store and then later imported into the Customer’s administrative console for another Store.
“Manual Gateways” means manual payment methods including but not limited to cash on delivery, money orders, and bank transfers.
“Platform Fee” has the meaning set out within the Gold Agreement.
