How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
We started on the internet, moved to Costco.com, then we distributed with Discovery Toys LLC in the USA and Canada. Currently we are selling direct using our Shopify online and Shopify POS. We tend to gain momentum using the Shark Tank effect since we were shown on ABC and more recently CNBC.
Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?
We accomplish fulfillment via USPS click and ship at our offices. Daily shipments are easy to take care of with the Admin section of Shopify. It is easy to print a label and stick it on the box.
What are your top recommendations for new ecommerce entrepreneurs?
If you think your website might gain national TV attention, where you will receive 3,000 viewers per second, go with Shopify because it will never crash under the heavy load.
