Foundling is the culmination of two sisters bringing their life experiences to a boutique, online emporium.
Not satisfied with what was available in the marketplace, the sisters wanted to combine their love of the East with their passion for beautiful unique homewares along with good quality wardrobe essentials. Hence Foundling was born, named in honor of their much loved grandfather who, as a newborn, was found on the local church steps.
What are the key factors that have helped your store be successful?
Foundling offers customers hand-picked, handmade and often one-off items for their home and wardrobe. "Our customers appreciate finding classically beautiful items that they can keep forever, they are looking for unique rather than mass-produced and... they make thoughtful purchases. Foundling sources suppliers and items that are made ethically - often by skilled artisans, so as well as being beautifully made... they come with good karma too.
