Introduce your business and tell us your story: How did you decide on what to sell, and how did you source your products?
I was at home on bed rest for most of my pregnancy, and having worked in the fashion industry for many years, I knew starting my own business and staying at home with my son Zion was exactly what I wanted to do. We started there, and it just took off. Everything we sell is 100% handmade.
How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
Social media. Instagram was our biggest sales platform at the start, but Pintrest and word of mouth have now caught up.
Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?
We really believe the review app works amazing, but haven't had much time to try more since we're still so busy with incoming orders. We ship everything ourself once or twice a day by intergrating ShipStation with Shopify.
What are your top recommendations for new store owners?
My top recommendations are to keep going and not give up. The road will only get more busy, and more fun. Be creative, original, and take the lead on everything you do.
