Ryon Lane (founder) wanted to run to yoga with a mat on his back (crazy!) and so he invented the folding, strapping YOGO mat which straps up small and also keeps the top clean (brilliant!). They launched on Kickstarter and have used Shopify platform from the beginning.
Its beautiful templates made getting a sharp website a snap from the beginning and we are now making very strong sales with a team of only 1.5 people. Our tiny mom n pop shop is possible because of tools like Shopify and our fulfillment partners.
How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
Our first sales were really kickstarter. We get attention through Google, referrals, and occasional press. We are also pretty active in social media.
