Shopify Small Tasks Terms

By requesting that Shopify Inc. (“Shopify”) connect you with a third-party partner (a “Small Tasks Partner”) to assist you with the task (a “Task”) you’ve selected from the Small Tasks website (the “Website”), you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Small Tasks Terms of Service”). The Small Tasks Terms of Service are in addition to the Shopify Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Shopify reserves the right to update and change the Small Tasks Terms of Service by posting updates and changes. You can review the current version of the Small Tasks Terms of Service at any time at https://www.shopify.com/legal/shopify-small-tasks. You are advised to check the Small Tasks Terms of Service from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you.
You must read, agree with and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in these Small Tasks Terms of Service before you request to have a Task completed by a Small Tasks Partner.
You agree that Shopify may share your contact details and the background information that you submit via the Website with the Small Tasks Partner. The Small Tasks Partner may require access to certain admin pages on your Shopify store. You choose the pages that the Small Tasks Partner can access.
Small Tasks Partners are independent third parties that can help you build and operate your Shopify store. Shopify does not employ Small Tasks Partners and is in no way affiliated with Small Tasks Partners. Shopify takes no responsibility for any work performed by Small Tasks Partners or the failure by a Small Tasks Partner to complete a Task. Connections to Small Tasks Partners, announcements about services or offers, and responses to email inquiries regarding Small Tasks Partners, are provided solely for informational purposes at the discretion of Shopify and shall not be construed or imply permission, or an affiliation, position regarding any issue in controversy, authentication, appraisal, sponsorship, nor a recommendation or endorsement of any website, product, service, activity, business, organization, or person, and any offers, products, services, statements, opinions, content or information on any linked third-party website.
The credit card you have on file with Shopify will be charged the cost of the Task once the Small Tasks Partner has completed the Task. In the event of a dispute between you and the Small Tasks Partner, Shopify is not obligated to intervene in any such dispute. Shopify may elect to refund a Task in its sole discretion within seven (7) days of the Task being marked by the Small Tasks Partner as “complete”. Shopify is not required to provide refunds.
Under no circumstances shall Shopify be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or other damages whatsoever, including, without limitation, any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or other damages that result from a Small Task Partner’s work on your Task, access to your store that you grant the Small Task Partner or your relationship with any Small Tasks Partner. These limitations shall apply even if Shopify has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The foregoing limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
