Eligibility
To qualify for the Simon × Shopify offer, your business must meet all of the following.
Be a Simon Property Group tenant in good standing
New to POS Pro (i.e. you are not yet using Shopify POS)
Have minimum projected annual card processing volume of $250,000, as determined by Shopify
Switch to and remain an active Shopify customer in good standing throughout the credit period
Process payments through Shopify Payments to qualify for the monthly credit

How does the credit post to my Simon invoice?
Each month that you remain an active Shopify customer in good standing, Shopify pays Simon the tier credit amount on your behalf. Simon then reflects that amount as a credit line on your monthly Simon invoice.
When does the credit start?
The credit begins the first full month after you activate Shopify POS Pro and Shopify Payments. It runs for up to 12 consecutive months from that activation date. Credits may take up to 90 days to post to your Simon invoice from the month in which they were qualified for.
What counts as “switching to Shopify”?
Setting up a paid Shopify plan, configuring Shopify POS at your Simon location(s), and processing in-store payments through Shopify Payments. Free trials don’t qualify on their own — you must convert to a paid plan.
What happens if I leave Shopify mid-period?
If your Shopify account becomes inactive or falls out of good standing during the credit period, future monthly credits stop. Credits already applied to past invoices stay applied.
I have multiple Simon locations. How does that work?
The credit is per merchant, not per location. If you operate multiple Simon locations under the same Shopify account, your tier is calculated on your total projected annual card processing volume across locations, and one credit posts each month.
Who funds the credit?
Shopify funds the credit. Simon applies the credit to your invoice only after Simon receives payment from Shopify. If Shopify fails to pay, Simon is not liable to you for the credit amount.
What if my projected volume changes?
Your tier is determined by Shopify based on the projected annual card processing volume at the start of the offer. It does not adjust mid-period based on actual volume.
Can I combine this with other Shopify promotions?
The Simon × Shopify credit is not combinable with other promotional offers from Shopify unless explicitly stated. Talk to sales to confirm what applies to your situation.

*Offer expires September 30, 2026. A credit is earned for each of 12 consecutive months beginning the first full month after the merchant activates Shopify POS Pro and Shopify Payments. Each month's earned credit may take up to 90 days from the end of that month to appear on the merchant's Simon invoice. This offer is solely from Shopify, and the credit amount will be reflected on the merchant's Simon invoice only after Simon receives payment from Shopify. Simon is not liable to the merchant for any credit amount if Shopify fails to pay Simon in full, and the merchant's sole recourse is with Shopify.
Simon eligibility: Must be an active Simon tenant in good standing.
Shopify eligibility: Merchant is not currently using Shopify POS Pro and converts to Shopify POS Pro and Shopify Payments.
Monthly credit: Each month's credit is based on the merchant's total in-store Shopify Payments volume that month across all of its locations, annualized (multiplied by 12): $250,000–$500,000 receives $250; $500,001–$1,000,000 receives $500; $1,000,001–$5,000,000 receives $750; $5,000,001+ receives $1,000. To receive a given month's credit, the merchant must process at least $20,833 in combined in-store Shopify Payments that month and remain an active Shopify customer in good standing. Credit is applied to one designated Simon invoice selected by the merchant at enrollment.
Annual true-up: At the end of the 12-month period, if the merchant's cumulative in-store Shopify Payments volume across all locations qualifies for a higher tier than the sum of monthly credits issued, Shopify will issue a one-time true-up payment equal to the difference between the sum of monthly credits issued and the maximum annual credit for the merchant's qualified tier ($3,000 / $6,000 / $9,000 / $12,000 for tiers 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 respectively). For purposes of this calculation, combined in-store Shopify Payments volume from all 12 months — including months below the $20,833 threshold — counts toward the cumulative total. The true-up is payable only if the merchant remains an active Shopify customer and Simon tenant in good standing on the final day of the 12-month period.
