Shopify Credit is a pay in full business credit card. Like other pay in full credit cards, you are responsible for paying your full statement balance every billing cycle. But with Shopify Credit, you get an extra 25 days to pay—a total of up to 56 days. No revolving balance, fees, or interest. Traditional credit cards let you carry a balance month to month, but they also charge late fees and interest rates.
At this time, Shopify Credit is open to select, pre-qualified Shopify merchants. Log in to Shopify to check your eligibility. Most pre-qualified merchants will get a decision in minutes. Learn more about Shopify Credit requirements.
Yes. Applying for Shopify Credit will not impact open offers or applications with Shopify Capital, or vice versa. Maximize funding for your business by applying for Shopify Credit and Shopify Capital. Your store and account must be in good standing to apply. Eligibility and offers for Shopify Credit and Shopify Capital are based on your business performance and may change over time.
Glad you asked. With Shopify Credit, you can earn up to 3% cashback on eligible purchases from your top spend category each month—either marketing, fulfillment, or wholesale. You will earn an additional 1% cashback from the other two spend categories.3 Rewards will appear as a statement credit each month. We’ll do the math, so you don’t have to. Because Shopify Credit is a pay in full business credit card, there is no interest. At the end of every repayment period, your statement balance needs to be paid in full.
Shopify Credit is a pay in full business credit card. Your statement balance is automatically paid in full 25 days after the close of your monthly billing cycle. That is a total of up to 56 days to pay for purchases. Payments are made from your designated bank or Shopify Balance account, unless you make a payment in full before your statement due date. Once approved, you will get a virtual card that you can use right away. You can also request a physical card for in-person business purchases. Your card will be sent via mail and arrive in 5-7 business days.
  • 1Eligibility is based on business performance, not your credit score. Most eligible merchants will receive a decision within minutes, and if approved will receive a virtual card.
  • 2The Shopify Credit business card is a pay in full credit card. Any outstanding statement balance will be automatically debited on each monthly payment due date from your designated bank account or Shopify Balance account. If your account cannot be successfully debited on the payment due date, your card will be locked and you won’t be able to make new purchases until your balance has been repaid.
