Shopify Credit is a pay-in-full business card, requiring you to pay off your monthly statement in full. Avoid fees by paying in full within 25 days after your monthly billing cycle ends.

Shopify Credit is open to select, pre-qualified Shopify merchants. Log in to Shopify to check your eligibility. Most pre-qualified merchants will get a decision in minutes.

If you started the application process for or currently have Shopify Capital funding, you are not eligible to apply for Shopify Credit at this time. Learn more about Shopify Credit requirements.

Yes. Applying for Shopify Credit will not impact open offers with Shopify Capital. Maximize funding for your business by applying for Shopify Credit and then Shopify Capital. Your store and account must be in good standing to apply. Eligibility and offers for Shopify Credit and Shopify Capital are based on various factors, including your business performance, and may change over time.
Glad you asked. With Shopify Credit, you can earn up to 3% cashback on eligible purchases from your top spend category each month—either marketing, fulfillment, or wholesale. You will earn an additional 1% cashback on eligible purchases from the other two spend categories.3 Rewards will appear as a statement credit each month. We’ll do the math, so you don’t have to. There are no annual fees. No setup fees. No foreign transaction fees. No lost, stolen, or card replacement fees. No fees for additional cards.
Shopify Credit is a pay-in-full business credit card. Your statement balance is due in full 25 days after the close of your monthly billing cycle. Payments are made automatically from your designated bank or Shopify Balance account, unless you make a manual payment in full before your statement due date. Learn more about updating or setting your default payment method.
If the automatic payment for any outstanding statement balance fails on the payment due date, your card will be locked and 20% of your daily sales will be collected until your balance has been repaid in full. If you have active Shopify Capital funding at the time, 13% of your daily sales will be collected for the duration in which you have active Shopify Capital funding.
Once approved, you will get a virtual card that you can use right away. You can also request a physical card for in-person business purchases. Your card will be sent via mail and arrive in 5-7 business days.
  • 1Eligibility is determined by various factors, including business performance, which does not include credit score. Most eligible merchants will receive a decision within minutes, and if approved will receive a virtual card.
  • 2The Shopify Credit business card is a pay-in-full credit card. Your statement balance must be paid in full 25 days after the close of your monthly statement period. Any outstanding statement balance will be automatically debited from your designated bank account or Shopify Balance account on each payment due date. If payment fails, your card will be locked and a percentage of your daily sales, up to 20%, will be collected until your balance has been repaid in full.
