My husband and I created Charmed By Reagan for our daughter, Reagan, in hopes to help build a college fund for her. She was born last June and soon found out how expensive a child can be.
I am the crazier, take risks and chances type of an individual where my husband is not. And somehow I talked him into helping me start this company for our little monkey.
How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
My husband and I were selling our jewelry face to face before we decided to take the big leap online. We never aspired to be business owners, let alone start up an online store. Once we saw how easy Shopify made it for us, we decided to give it a try. Through social media, great customer service and word of mouth, we were slowly getting our orders online.
Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?
We sell personalized lockets in forms of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and badge holders. You place little charms inside these lockets and each locket is personalized to the individual. There is a HUGE variety of charms to choose from. Some of our top trends right now are the "Life and Career" and "Fashionista" charms. Our number one seller is the badge holder locket where individuals from the medical profession place a "medical sign" charm, "RN" charm, their "birthstone" charm, a "coffee tumbler" charm, and their initial.
